I was putting oil in my car cause the dip shit that did it told me he put it valvoline and a Honda filter. I checked it later and I am low on oil. I decided to put some high mileage into it. I put it in and set the bottle on my battery. I check the stick and then decide that it is ok. I was going to crank it to double check but decided not 2. I look over to the bottle and I see that it is spilled on my Weapon R Dragon intake. It is not a noraml intake, it is the one with the foam on it. I thought about it and figured it would not hurt it I drove it after taking it apart and drying it the best that I could. I did it and drove it for awhile and then parked and checked to see if any oil had been sucked into the throttle body or if any has came down the pipe. I didn't see anything and decided it was ok. Is it ok? What do I do? Are the fumes going to mess up anything if the oil is burning somewhere in it or on the outside? I know that you can oil these intake but I dont think that much....

hmm the oil might effect a sensor... Even a stock A20A3 motor will suck up a little bit of oil from the hose to the valve cover.

I say get some soap and water or whatever is good at removing oil and clean your foam. then spray some TB cleaner @ the TB

Yeah a little oil on the intake is ok infact your supposed to put some on their after you clean it I think. But you don't want it drenched either. Can't hurt to wash it.

I put alot of TB on it and sprayed the hell out of it and not I put it back on the car with the hood up and the sun pointing down on it so it will dry more. I let it sit out for about 2 hours in the sun.

Wait spray the Throttle body with TB cleaner...

A Foam filter should not be oiled, the reusable feature of the Foam filters is that you can wash it with soap and hot water... then dry it out and use it again.

A cotton gauze filter use oil... but not engine oil.

I once got transmission oil on my K&N filter and it soaked into the gauze and just ruined the filter.
