How much is your insurance per month or for every 6 months? I am 19 and live in WA state. I want to know what everyone else is paying and also if anyone can reccommend a good company that doesnt rip you off.

NOT Farmers, I pay $120 a month for liabality on my parents plan. This is in Southern Oregon. If i lived in the Portland area it probably would double.

I pay 1200 ever 6 months, 200 bucks a month, for the cheapest possible liability insurance I could get... Too many tickets, and only one accident (that they know of :)). Under my own insurance, I just turned 21 too.

Either you're over 50, have really crummy insurance, or full of sh*t.

I pay $136 a month for full coverage which includes $700 extra coverage for stereo equipment and CD's. I'm with Farmers. I did notice that after i turned 22 that for some reason my insurance went down.

Oh yeah, i have 5 tickets but Farmers hasnt noticed it yet because when i got my insurance with them i didnt have any tickets.

DAMN.....does your a$$hole hurt??? :lol

I'd shop around and see if you can get any cheaper. that seems like a real ripoff. esp if you're driving a 3G.

ok, all of ya stop bitchin!!!!!!!!!!!! My insurance is $4100 CDN / yr...thats over $2500 US. I had an accident 2 years ago, but thats it. It is crazy here in the Atlantic Provinces in Canada. Some people have seen hikes of over 70% in the last year. There are elections coming up, and that is the main focus for most of them because nobody can afford these prices. They said it also hurts us if your car is over 10 years old. Apparently the insurance company's think that if your car is over 10 years old, you don't care about it and that makes you driving it a higher risk. It's all total bull$hit.

Aight, well I'm about to get a new ride so I guess I will get something that is newer than 10 yrs. old. I dont have any tickets or accidents, but some bitch ass stole my car less than 2 months ago and that is seen as high risk so I will try not to let them know about that if its possible.

Yea insurance is a real bitch. I pay $2800/year CDN under my dad's insurance with out full coverage! I'm the secondary driver on my own fucking car! I have one accident but I wasn't at fault and the insurance company said that it wouldn't affect my rates. Bullshit to that! A friend of mine has a '91 Integra and he's paying $190/month CDN with full coverage on his own. I would switch insurance companies but everywhere I've gone said that they're not accepting new clients. :wtf:
Insurance is such a fucking scam. I mean here in Ontario it's not as bad as out east in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia but it's going to be soon.
