It sux - but I shouldn'd bich-moan over it... I think my tranny's goin...
slipping and making like a loud racheting noise - but only in first gear: D3 & D4...
no prob if I start in "2", then shift to D3/D4 it still shifts smooth and with kick when pushed. I also get a wierd intermittant engage/disengage while coming to a stop - still just in D3/D4.
Hell - 175k on it = can't complain... I let it go kinda long between changes - about 30k. 3G's AT's aren't the highestly praised component, but I still think it's a good unit, it just needs frequent fluid changes. Why I didn't - no clue... guess it's the squeeky-wheel mind set - literally - cuz it's really the most major prob I've had with it.
Anyway - anyone know - had same thing ??...
I did ATF change and plan to flush it again, but I don't think I'm getting off that easy!!
