More power

I have a Toyota Corolla '93 I put on my short ram from my Honda but it doesnt seem to go any faster and the gas mileage could be a lot better what could be wrong please help??:confused:

did you connect the vacuum lines right?

there is a wire that has this piece that looks like a prong kind of its connected to a hose to the Short ram it connects to I think the valve cover is that what you are talking about??
