Yep, now my Aerodeck has a carbon fiber hood
I think this is one of the most unique Aerodecks in the world :-)

I will post more information about my car when 3axap ('89AccordLX(Rus)) will be online and able to correctly translate my comments.

carbon fiber flip light covers are really necesarry, i never liked how it just came down in the middle and the light covers weren't carbon fiber. other wise, looks great, glad to see the aerodeck is back in action.

Nice hood:D

Your car looks great. One thing though, you really need to lower it. Maybe some sportier rims.(not chrome)

Either way good job.

Yes, i agree about the rims and lowering... I already ordered H&R Springs 40mm drop and am now waiting on shipping.

About rims - when i find good rims for the change I will buy them. It's very difficult to find good 4x100 R16 rims...

Sounds good.

Make sure you take some more pics when you're done.

I like the way you take pics, how about some daytime pics nextime.:)

I will be able to make day pictures a bit later. I only got the car fixed two days ago. :-) Also, while I was driving home after the night photoshoot, I visited an old photo scenery location: the lake. There was once again fog and I made several photos, one of which I am showing. You can compare the pictures before and after the accident.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

P.S.: The sky in this picture, as well as the picture taken before the accident, is a product of Photo Shop. :-) In reality the sky is normal monotonous clear blue. Plus the sun rises from the other direction.

Your aerodeck has a sunroof!

Is it an original Honda one or aftermarket add on?

If its original Honda than aerodecks are an exception to the rule of no factory sunroofs for two doors.

Is that no sun roofs and no moon roofs? My coupe has a power moon roof. Looks factory to me.

guaynabo89
07-15-2003, 06:38 AM
Trust me it isn't.

Look around the edges and you will see the black frame outlining it. The stock 4dr sunroof has no frame and the rubber around the glass meets up with the sheetmetal of roof.

Next time your around a lxi 4dr compare and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, the moonroof looks flush with the roof and it has two buttons next to the power windows thingy to control it that looks factory. Are you sure the SE-i didn't come with them?

VERY NICE!!! I always love seeing your car, Paul. Aerodeck's are hella sweet! I think I may have seen one last time I was home, but I'm not sure cause it was in the rear view mirror that i saw it. And as always...great PS skills!! :)

The coupes and hatchbacks had dealer installed sunroofs but thats about it.

OPen the sunroof on the coupe. If you look at it when its open you will notice that there is a black outline around the edge of the opening. THat is part of the frame for the aftermarket sunroof. If it was original there would be no black frame and the sheetmetal would angle down around the whole where the rubber seal of the glass slides up and pushes up against

If you had a four door lxi you could tel te difference right away.

I found out that the coupes and hatchbacks didn't come with original sunroofs when I wanted to put the sunroof off a 4dr onto my hatch. The roofs are completly different.

I am pretty sure that every se-i coupe I have seen here had a sunroof.

No.

If it did have one it was an aftermarket add on where they cut a whole in the roof and installed it.

i like the wheels but they need to be bigger with suspension that high.. the height will look fine once you drop it a couple inches though. the way it is now it almost looks like a mini suv which would be cool with some bling bling dubs..

its the infatuation with AE86's 85s, treunos and cars of that sort. this aerodeck, does not look like a hatchiroko as far as im concerned.

I think rear molding is different. If you post detailed picture of it, i can say it exactly. My rear molding have grille - like M3 :D, i don't see it on hatchs... About rear bumper - post detailed pictures.

Sorry for bad english :crying: :D

it's not bad english at all Paul. It's very easy to understand you.

anyway, as for the rear moldings, are you able to get any of these moldings from the Aerodeck? I would be interested in seeing if they fit the hatchback.
