you have a pretty nice weight advantage if I am wrong. My friend with an 89 lude is unreasonably fast. I don't understand it. My mechanic with his 89 lxi accord has intake, exhaust, port and polish head, and injectors from a newer year accord and he is crazy fast. I can only catch up too him in my upper 3rd gear rpm range. Your accords are some sleepers. Keep up the good work and welcome to the board. Keep us updated.

Can you find out what year accord injectors and anything you have to do to make them work.

ah man :::pats you on the back::: don't feel bad. I just typed up the names I could think of real fast. I didn't mean to leave anyone out, or single anyone out for that matter. All you guys have nice 3G's and can bring something else to the table that no-one else has with theirs.

Hello Im New Refered by someone off of HHU. I just bought an 87' Accord Lx today "7/17/03" and i already have the rims/tires lowering kit, and some other minor stuff picked out. As for engine Mods. i dont know what would be best being as it is an automatic and im used to a Stick! If you have any suggestions tell me. Ill post pics at a later time due to the fact that the tornado's here a few months back took my $300 digital cam and ... well most everything else i had.

start off with a 5-spd conversion if you really want to wake your car up. Then we'll talk about bolt-ons under the hood. I've done the conversion on two cars to-date, and will be undergoing it a 3rd time with my 2nd 3G. It's not a bad job, just time consuming.

Engines and trannies are relatively inexpensive at junkyards. Check the yellow pages. I found an engine that is rebuildable for less than $100. So i know a tranny cant be that much.
