Just wondering because I have new rims and tires that I bought for my Altima and I was thinking if I was ever in a jam and needed to switch rims, could it be done??? I know the ideal size for us is 205/40/17 but I just have to know if it'll work with no problems.....

That'll work... that's what I have on mine... that is if the rims are 4-point.

OK, I thought you were talking about something else, yeah they have a universal fitting for 4x100 and 4x114 so they will fit, I was just concerned about the tires being too big...:flash:

They might rub a little in the back, and when you bottom out in the front.

If your gettin a good deal on them just get camber kits and bring them in a degree. -1 degree of camber is allowable in our cars without major tire problems.

So basically you're saying I may have to get the fenders rolled in the back..... As far as the front, I have a camber kit so the adjustment should be no problem.....

i have 205/45/17's. and the WILL rub in the rear. simply just roll the fender lips back and you should be good.

IMO I don't think those will work....I am running a 215 tire but it's 35 series on 18's. Looks to me like you are playing with fire on this one, I would try them on your car before buying them.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of but like I said I already have the rims because they are on my Altima right now...... They're perfect for the Altima but I was just thinking if I ever got into a bind and needed to use those rims and tires, could I use them...... I guess I'm going to have to put them on and see for myself......:flash: :flash:
