Alternator?

I was told that you could mess up pistons if you install a alternator wrong.. He told me that if there is to much juice it fries something. I am pretty sure that it was the Pistons. I would think that is why they have the alternator power testers like the ones at Auto Zone. I am talking about how you can go there and have them check it for free.... Is there a how to on this?

I think there is only one way to install ur alt.It is not that hard at all.If u take a good look at it u will see how easy it is just take off
ur air box.

I thought that the Alt. is on the other side of the engine..I looked at it and could of sworn it was on the right side (looking at the engine). What air box are you talking about.. Are you talking about the one near the front bumper or the one behind the PGMFI?

The one behind the PGMFI.It is on the drivers side I changed it 3 times in different accords all 3gees though.And they were all LX-i's
It is the same place with carbs though.
