Ok..:D my bright lights work and may dim lights work but they are very very dim then after a while they cut off! so when im driving i have to bright light people:flipa: :lol and my Mom keeps naggin at me tell me that i cant pure any more money into my car until i get my head lights fixed!:burn: and i have an idea of what it is but i just want some more opinions. i think its the switch on the steering column. and ive tried looking for them at the junk yard but every one that ive looked at doenst have my car!! i guess because our car run for ever:super: but i could always get one off of Ebay but ill probably have to just buy the whole steering column. ive seen them on Ebay for 40$. so id would appreciate the second opinions!!

P.S. sorry for the long post...

With a bad alternator your brights will suffer as well but not very noticeably put a volt meter on your chargeing system and see what it is putting out.

Just start your car and hook a volt meter up to the battery and post what is says in volts

this is most likely not the answer but change your headlights maybe they are old.

well i cant start up my car right now because i tried to remove my vaccum lines and messed up some how but im getting new lines today and im putting it all back together so ill try it after that (when it will actually start) but i think i will try replacing my headlights... theres no telling when they were last replaced!
