About 300. Hopefully he does the timing belt at the same time.

Mine was 245 with timing belt done. That was before taxes though.

It was a high guess. I did it like a year go. its just the plain ol OEM pump.

my mom just had that done. i bought the pump and a new timing belt for $30 each, and one shop wanted $250 to put them on. the mechanic was trying to screw me tho cuz he said he had to change the balancing belt too and i know good and well the A20 doesn't have a balancing shaft. i took it to another shop and they did it for $160. He didn't change the timing belt tho, said it looked good...

i wanted him to! dangit i guess i shoulda told him that instead of just leaving it in the bag with the water pump. i figured he'd get the point tho...

I was waiting at a Brakes plus with my friend and this lady was paying..Her total was around 600 dollars. (and that was just for the waterpump and some new hoses) Hopefully they dont rape you like that.

any "mechanic" that doesn't insist on changing all the stuff around the water pump doesn't know much about hondas..or they want your repeat biz. Changing the water pump?..all opf the expensive stuff is off the engine already...maybe an extra hour labor..coolant ( or oil) leaking onto the timing belt is just bad news..change it now ( unless you're selling the car)
