Funky Smell in A/C

Just wondering if anyone else has had this same problem...

Whenever I switch my air source from Recirculate to Fresh on the A/C control panel, the air coming in really smells. It kinda smells like something has mildewed.

Does anyone know if there is a filter that I can remove and clean to get rid of this smell? Or maybe some air hoses that I colud clean out, maybe they are dirty? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The mildew is the result most likely from turning off the A/C and leaving your car. You should always turn off your A/C and then blow fresh air for a few minutes to rid the vents of moist air.

only the blower has a foam filter on the intake port of it. But its just natural for that stink. I have had that in almost every car i have sat in.
