2003 Civic Si Exhaust on my accord?

Would it be noticeable in power if I put my friends 03 Civic Si stock exhaust on my accord? I was thinking that it would be cause of the flow that it muct have for a 160 hp @ 6500rpms..I would think that engine would need some flow..I like the sound of mine but I love the look of the Si exhaust...What should I do?

if u gettin the muffler for free i dont see why it wouldnt hurt to try but dont go spend money on gettin one cuz i think they are really expensive

Yeah, It is going to be for free..I am just worried if I put it on and I don't notice anything... I love the look of it! I looks so sweet!

i don't think it will give you anything. may be 2-3 hp max.
performance mafflers are not expensive. you can get dynomax for under $40

I agree. Dont put another cars stock exhaust on when you can get a performance one for a relatively low price.

I would just get another muffler on. Unless you have a welder and it won't cost you anything to put it on.

You wont notice a difference with just the muffler alone, that's not what boosts performance. And also just because it's a 160hp motor doesnt mean the exhaust helps it breathe better. The piping could be the same, but it's still going to be forced out the same place.

True and besides it may be in better physical shape any way unless you just had a new one put on.

I'd say just go on ebay and look up dynomax, flowmaster, etc. and see what they run. LIke the rest of them say a stock muffler isnt going to flow much better unless you've got one really plugged muffler. I'd say dynomax super turbo or bullet muffler and if flowmaster then go with a 40 or 50 series. Then get a hi-flo cat.

standard price round here to put a muffler on is like 25-35 :(
