Center Console Problems

As you can see from the pix that im coming along in my painting project. One problem is that i cant get the center console out. The part where the mid a/c vents are down to the radio. Anyone have experience pulling these that can help me?

I popped mine out a long time ago. I honestly don't remember how I did, but I think there are some screws....

as far as i can tell you have to pull the whole dash out. Mine is broken right where the radio is and i was told i have to replace the whole dash instead of just replacing the center console.

hmmmm. Then how did guys paint there center area around where the climate controls are? Wonder if they painted while still in car?

I think you have too pull the gauge plastic part off and then you can get to it....
