This is a really good article given to me by another board member.

yes that is a good site, as well you can search "CAI," and you will get information about cold air intakes (CAI) on this site that others have posted and in those they will tell you what type and what year of CAI they have in their 3G.

you could just make a custom intake...

I used a 45 degree bent piece of 3 inch muffler pipe, and got a shielded filter for about $25... the whole thing cost me about 30 bucks

of course this wasn't really a true cold air intake because it just kinda stuck on the side of the engine... but will be alot better than the stock intake

behind the bumper there is a chamber that you can use to put the air filter, i did it with 2 intake tubes and works really good.

When the car is cold it appears like runs better, the reason, cold air, once the engine is hot, you're death...

I followed the directions on the site listed above: http://www.87accordlxi.com/coldair/coldair.htm
I had to use part of the stock hosing to give me an extra bend to get around the battery, and I also used some 90º couplings to get the filter in the bumper and out of the engine compartment. It seems to work really well, especially on the highway. The sound is great too!

That is how I made mine. It cost me about $90 with a K&N filter.
