My 89 lxi has an original clifford alarm system on it and i'm wondering would it be ok to disconnect everything? I've noticed that the power cable is not hooked to the battery. If i did remove everything including all the fuses and wires running under the dash could i disrupt the electrical system at all?:help:

who ever installed it i assume the dealership did as an option back in 89 did a great job but it is usless to me. If it is such a good brand do you think i should sell it or throw it away.

it includes:
fuses
horn
wires
power cable
red light next to cruise control
a box that was under dash with round key holes i assume for wheel locking
also another box that was screwed into the fire wall next to the alarm horn.

Dude just keep it, i just installed a clifford alarm system in my car and it was a biyaaaatch! If you dont take it out right you can mess with stuff like the ignition and lights, If you dont got the remote thats fine, go and find the model # of your alarm and go under ebay and you can find yourself a remote! Then your all set!
