I looked but couldn't find a comprehensive list on when engines can be dropped into a 3 gen. If someone has a list can they post it, and the stock hp on those engines?

Thanks!

Lets see A20A1, A20A2, A20A3, B20A. I would use the search button in the top right corner b/c the site has so much info on engine swaps.

Here it was in the faq section and i gues their is no reason to say use the search feature not because it has allready been said once.

the only motor besides the a20's that can 'drop' in is the b20a out of the jdm/euro 3g accords. they're pretty hard to find.

other b series motors (ie. b16, b18 etc) can be put in, but you have to get custom motor mounts, axles and misc other things.

everything is very hard and expensive to put in.........

There's no need to insult yourself. You just didn't see it. Now you know so it's all good.

Well mistakes happen. At least you are willing to admit it unlike some people. Also there is the lude H22A but it is just a hard and expensive as the B18C

i believe its MUCH harder then b18c and way more expensive if i remember correctly. B18 is a possiblity, H22 isnt without a fat load of dough.

Well at least they make the parts you need to drop in the H22a. But I would have to agree with you that it would be harder to do. I forgot about the mounting problem.

What about the 2.3 liter quad 4 engine General Motors used to build in the early 1990's

It had either 180 or 190 hp and revved to 7,500 rpm. It was ahead of Honda engines as far as power output went when it was built. I think its about the same size as the B20A. I think the code is F20B0 or something
