how much sound decrease will you get with a leaked flex pipe and what causes flex pipes to leak in the first place cuz mine is not even old and its already leaking it must be somethin that caused it. HELP!!!!!!:sadwave:

First off are you sure it's leaking?
The stock flex pipe has a wire mesh covering ribbed joints... if the wire mesh is torn that wouldn't cause a leak... one of the joints inside would have to be bad.

The guy who installed my catback told me its leaking and that its caused by a bad motor mount, I dont know if he's right or not.

What... thats ridiculous. I don't see how a bad motor mount would cause the flex to leak. If the flex is rusted out then yeah it's leaking... but the honda flex pipe is very flexable and can take some abuse.

its not a honda flex pipe its wuz replaced already so maybe a bad mount messed the one i got on it

oh... okay then. I'd say get a header and a true flex pipe to replace the flex joint that comes with some after market headers, like pacesetter. I think DC sports uses a true flex pipe so you won't need to modify their header, it just cost more to boot.
