Haven't post here for a while.

(1) One of the fog lights I installed was probably hitted by a stone and the piece of glass is all cracked. I'd like to get a new pair and get them replaced. I have tight budget and will go for cheap ones. Can anyone suggest a good one? (In the range of $30) I also don't like yellow light, I used them and I know it bothers oncoming traffic.

(2) This one is weird. My A/C is working but the air blow from the center vent is a little warmer than the driver side vent. I used a temp gauge to confirm this. Anyone has the same problem? I think the center vent is suppose to give the coldest air?

(1) I dunno, try Ebay
(2) There's a little lever in the center vent, put it in the position where the little arrow is white, not blue.

sorry i can't help with the questions but i have a great idea of what to do with your working foglight. use it as a neon underbody light. my friend did this on his 91 escortwith an extra one, and it looks awesome.
just rubberband a piece of colored cellophane around the light (or paint it or leave it, the yellow looks good to) mount it under the front of the car, or wherever you want it, aimed down. then just use your existing wiring and switch.

I have some really cool fogs I will sell you for 10$ plus shipping (2$-5$), they are LiteGlow micro beams. Really small and compact, pretty bright too...I think they are around 50 watts. They have a blue lense, it is cracked but not missing any pieces or anything. They are also practically bran new, I only used em for a couple of months. Let me know.

Thanks for all the replies. I've been always putting the lever at the blue position. I thought this is the position that it will bypass the heater core. I'm going to try putting in the white position.

Neon underbody light is a good idea. But I just look at my driver license and it reminds me that I'm too old to do that anymore.

I think I'll get something new. Wife doesn't want me to get used lights.

ok well go to autobarn.com and pick some up new, they are only about 20$ new and I guarantee you will like em. BTW....what I was talking about was FOG LIGHTS, seems like you got the impression that they were neons. Yes LiteGlow does sell neons, but they are driving lights. Like I said tho if you don't want used pick some up new from autobarn.

okay here is a nice deal on a fog light. the price is 25 bucks brand new. its called COMPETITION series Driving lights. The casing is either chrome or black ( u can choose) its a 55W multi reflecting housing. the front has a pale blue coating to it. its 100% legal in most of the states. The reflector inside, looks like the one from the cabinet halogen bulb reflectors u see in expensive cabinets and tv stands. U can get this from Advance auto parts store. The same COmpetition series comes in a fog light version with amber(yellow) lens. Get it. its what i am gonna get. My friend bought it and it is just awsome. get it get it and get it quick. It came out just now and everyone wants to get it. damn i need to go to that Advance auto parts store. advanceautoparts.com does not have the competion serious lights, but the store has it.

yo! that AC thing.. it happened with my heat in the winter time. What it is, is that lever, like POS Carb said. BUT, what was wrong with mine, was the fact that the lever was not engaging the little rod connected to the flap that actually controls the air flow. If you get in your passenger side, look behind your stereo, and down a little bit, so you're looking at the heater core thingie (blower and all). Move that lever, there should be a small metal rod moving, not connected to a black plastic peg. Put it back on there, and there you go.

Thanks !

My cable for that lever must have been disconnected. I moved that level and basically there is no change of temp at all. I remember it used to blow stronger when it is in the blue position. Now it just doesn't make any difference.

I'll check on it.

The blue position is to add fresh air from outside. In the winter it would make the heat colder, and in summer it would make the A/C hotter.

I got under there and check the heater cables and they are all connected and working fine. I don't think I'll ever figure out why my center vent temp is warmer than the side vent.

did u take the whole dash off? i guess the flaps on your heater core are not opening as they should. they tend to get sticky for some reason. see if the lift cables ON the heater core is still connected and the cables behind the dash are connected to the switch levers good.

I didn't take the dash off. I just got under there with a flash light and moving the temp lever as well as the white/blue lever at the center vent to see if they move. I think I have to take the dash off one weekend to get it figure out.

here is a help if u dotn know or want to know how to take the dash off. unsrew the panel below the steering column. remove the steering wheel. unclip the wires from the ignition key. unclip all the blue, organge and white connertors near the right of the steering column inside the dash. Remove the bolts on the corner of the dash and the one behind the clock. u should be able to take out the dash after this.
