OK here is the deal I did some research on the legend injectors I got from the unk yard and have now put in my car. I have found that they are the same part number as the new legends some of the TL's and yes even the NSX has used this injector weird huh I just thought I would share.

you put them in your accord? do they fit? I don't know much about injectors, cause i have never messed with them. Any difference?

Most injectors are pretty much the same size, just some of them have different flow rates.

Yup put them in the accord. Felt a very nice power difference through the entire power band. Also I noticed that they are differently marked with paint than any other stock 4 cyl honda injector I have sceen and I have noticed the couple h22 injectors have even different markings.

i heard that all honda injectors have the same flow rate - except for the S2000 injectors. So if those injectors work... maybe it's true.

Do you have other mods on your car? (IHE)
Because isnt that kind of dangerous to run too rich?

i run a short ram intake, (exhaust i don't really count, cuz i run stock piping, with obx muffler, and i got stock headers) so i want more fuel to go with that, and im thinking, my 16 years old stock injectors are probably some what clogged up anyways.

o and btw, i believe the part number for the injector is 21788

i could be wrong, but i THINK im on the right track, as the 97 2.2CL use that, 86-89 teg 1.6 use that, 86-96 Legends use that, 91-97 NSX use that, and 92-94 Vigor use that, they all use "21788" injectors, so i think those are it

and starter, u hit the jackpot about the 3 days, haha, probably took u like only 2 min to find that out, lol

I cleaned mine by dipping the tips in stp fuel injector cleaner then I ran some lucas cleaner through them and tomorrow I will take som how to install picts.

dipped? hm.... so i should just like literally dip them in the fuel injector cleaner, then install them?

I let the tip soak in STP fuel injector cleaner but not the electrical part then I wipped it off and let it dry for a bit. After I ran lucas fuel stuff in the system and let it idle for about 10 minutes before driving. I did this mostly because the tips had a lot of crud around them but not on the actual injector part.

Welp, since I've gotta wait for my MPI kit to arrive, I decided to clean up these junkyard injectors. I've still gotta bit of work to do, but they shine up really nice :)

Multi-Port Injection Tune up Kit. It's not a genuine Honda part, but comes with a complete set of injector seals, TB gasket, and a handful of other seals/gaskets/washers to keep your fuel system working at it's best.

The rubber seals on my injectors are dead, and I didn't feel like paying 8 bucks plus per injector.

Problem... it's a discontinued item and there are only three of them left at Advance's main warehouse (make that two).

I just bought a full gasket set for my racecar and it came with everything in pic plus a ton of more stuff, worked perfect, plus got the whole set for 40 bucks on eBay, got to love that.

Got my seal kit, installed the injectors. Definitely worth the 15 junkyard dollars :) Felt a bit of a power gain. I'm definitely satisfied.*

*My injectors were the stock OEM ones, never replaced.

I don't want to burst anyones bubble but I was at Canadian Tire the other day I had the guy look up an 87 accord fuel injector and an 87 legend injector and the both have the same part number so they are the exact same injector. I hope it not true but can anyone else look into it because if they are indeed diff injectors I will do the swap but I don't want to do it for no reason.
Sorry guys

how can V6 injectors fow more than the 4 cyl ones? the individual cylinders are smaller which to me would mean a lower flowing injetor

(shrugs) All I know is that my engine feels better with these in there as opposed to my original stockies. They were probably clogged to all hell and on their last leg. Either way I came out on top :)

I really need to take that manifold off and clean it out. There was a schload of gunk built up in it. Polishing it up (inside and out) sounds nice too.

i wonder how it would feel if i just took the stock ones out and cleaned them off? lol, what comes to mind is that old commercial w/ the "dirty" injector and the "new clean" one flowing right beside it.
