well I finished my vaccum removal today..and I must say it was not hard at all...I mean taking everything off is the hard part..anyways I went and hooked everything up and went to start the car and it didnt start..so I tried agian..and agian..and then it started...YEAH! so then I played with the idle and then took it for a drive...WOW! now i know why its worth it!...I mean everything from my idle to my shifting has improved...and of course a hell of alot better pickup:D I want to thank everyone who helped me with this,A20,3rdgenfan,mindlos,accordex,shepard79...th anks for all the help and the good how to's...I will post some pics tomorrow..and get to work soon on my other projects:D

Good to hear you've improved your car!! I wish I knew what the vacuum thing was all about...:lol I'm a FI!! :) But :super: anyways :)

like I said the hard part is taking everything off...all I needed was a 10mm socket,a flathead screwdriver and a set of wire cutters....after that its just plug and play:D

Wow! Look at all the added garbage you got rid of. Probaly lost 10 lbs in hose alone :lol

Looks good tho. Now all you need is a Weber.

Actually when I removed mine I think it was about 10-13 lbs. (I had cruise control too)

suprisingly there is a good amount of weight to be lost..the emmissions box and the lines are bulky
