Wiring..

I have a Sony Mp3 Cd Reciever 50 X 4, 23.2 RMS . I have 2 Blaupunkt (110 Ws, 40 RMS) in the front and i just got pioneers 6 1/2 (180 W and 35 RMS) for the back. but I am not getting enuf clarity in the sound do you think changing the wires would help in the sound output.

Oh and one more thing... do 6X9s have better bass than 6 1/2s???

get a small 4 channel amp and then change the wires... a 40X4 rms would do fine.. you can find em for as little as 75 bucks on ebay but if you want quality, about 150 should do it... lemme know if you want help selecting an amp

thanx Travis, I am going to put in a sub soon. So i need a cheap amp and a sub, and i sure do need some advice on those. and if i put the sub in can i power my speakers off from the same amp. ??

here is the best thing you can do... PM 87DXHatch ... he has a 5 channel amp for sale that would be great for your setup... 4 channels for speakers, and a 5th for a small sub... and i have that sub... its a 12 inch kenwood... i can make a box for it and ship it all or you can just buy th esub.. or dont buy it at all... lol.. but definetly talk to 87DXHatch and tell him i sent you about his V12

North Bay ontario... its about 6 hours from teh border... i have lots of subs if you actually need one... all will go for 100 canadian dollars with out boxes, and a little more with...

i have a... 12 inch kenwood W3005.. its mint.. 100 bucks
10 inch JL AUDIO 10W3 in a huge ass box that will pound sooo hard...175 with box
2 12 inch Jensen wal mart subs... 100 for the pair.. 120 with the shitty box

Here's what you should do Imran:

If you're willing to spend the money, get a 75 X 4 or bigger amp (check out the Tsunami and Avionixx amps in the Amps section of www.edesignaudio.com ... I have a Tsunami 4440 db and I couldn't be happier).

Run your rear speakers off the HU wiring, and run your front speakers off the front channels of the amp. Run a sub off the bridged rear channels of the amp. I did this for one of my first systems and it was really really awesome.

6x9's have much better bass than 6 1/2's. Lucky for me I have both of them in my car :D . But anyways, what guage wire are you using? You can get away with regular 16 guage speaker wire that you can buy at radio shack, but if you really feel like spending money, buy some monster cable 12 guage speaker wire ;)

I am still powering the speakers off the stock wiring.. I am not sure what size that is..I have a friend changing his 6X9 (stock) from his 91 accord. Will i be able to put them in mine, between the 6 1/2 ?? And if am able to.. shud i use stock, the speakers are fine. He just wanted new ones so he got em.
