making weird noise..need anyones help

My speedometer is making this weird high pitched noise. I dont know what I need to do....do I need to buy a new speedometer or a new cluster or what? If anyone knows what is going on can you please help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

The speedometer is driven by a cable connected to the transmission. It may be that the cable and/or speedometer connection needs to be lubricated. To do so, you need to remove the cluster hood and carefully remove the gauge cluster itself (after disconnecting everything from it). The cable is attached to the speedometer with a clip connection. Be careful when seperating the gauge cluster/speed assembly from the cable. Once appart, use a teflon or silicon based lubricant on the cable end and any moving parts on the speedo. If this doesn't cure it, you can try to remove the entire cable and lubricate it throughout once it is out of the car.
