so im at my local stereo wars (sound off) and i see this cavi with a non functioning roof scoop... and i was like I WANT! but then i remembered my sunroof... damn!!! on the way home i looked up and saw my roofscoop.. only it was backwards... :) i got home and unbolted the roof, cleaned the silicone off and ran a new bead. then i took the roof and put it in backwards... now i have a roofscoop that can be closed in bad weather and its like i have AC now... i love it! i cant believe i didnt think of this sooner!!!

I don't get it... you installed your roof backwards is what I'm understanding and I dunno if that's possible, never looked at that... or did you install your sunroof backwards?

my sunroof is aftermarket.. its just a frame with a peice of glass... i took the frame out and flipped it around.. now it opens with the hole at the front and smooth at the back

make an animation of the roof scoop flying back and making the car behind you crash @ 80mph :)

The force from high speed winds blow it back, thus causing it to be non-functional. Light driving may be good. Aerodynamically, kinda like holding a book going 85mph with the spine of the book toward the rear of the car.

sure would be nice to have in the heat of the summer if you dont have a/c (like me). I have a feeling it would look kinda corny though.

Yeah sure, we all know what really happened. You took the sunroof out to fix a leak and you were about halfway through putting it back in and you realized it was backwards, so you were like "Fuck it, I'm just gonna pass this off as a mod."

Sounds interesting I'd also like to see it before I pass judgement though.
