Hey why do your taillights look kind of dull? did you apply some clear coat to it? It might help.

yeah i used what i thought would be glossy clear. i will buy another can when i do my corners, and gloss it all up.. :)

You did a good job, but one of the things I like about the hatch is the tailights.


Since you making them all match it should look good.

take some more pics when you throw some clear to get the full effect.

Chris You need to black out your emblems now.

Try using a car polish on the taillights. It should help. If that isn't enough, then break out the Mother's and see if that will shine them up.

did you remove the headlight eyebrows to paint them and if u did how do you remove them also did you get the niteshades online because ive been lookin everywhere to get some

Looks good man. Yah they are kinda dull. But it will look real nice when you get them shiny, and the corners too lol.

Its easy to take the eyebrows off. you have to take off that plastic piece that goes around the fron of the headlight, and they will pull right off.

oh thanx, yea i think the front looks good and will look alot better when you get them corners blacked out .... what do you think i have a black hatch will it look good if i black out everything or should i keep my tails stock and black out the corners, eyebrow and grill

you shouldn't need to remove em. i just did the corners on mine last night without taking em out, and i'm doing th eyebrows tonight and i'm leavin those on when i do it. just do a really careful job of newspapering everything else and you should be fine

yeah i plan on getting a tint, and like travis suggested, possibly a lisence plate cover that is tinted.

i have plans to get a sedan bumper, chop it all out, and paint it, along with my mirrors, and all moulding to be the same color as the rest of the body! :) should look good once its done!

yeah my buddy had JUST picked it up from buying it, and didnt notice the terrible noises that the tranny makes... oh well. he will be buying a new one very soon! lol...

he plans to only drop the supra like 1" :rolleyes: lol

aw....power of toyota.."cough" back to the 3g-Nice tails but what was wrong with them stock? the stock tails on the hatchies are pretty tight looking. oh well still look great!
