is there a carb out there with the same intake bolt pattern out there that allows better flow? and what would be need for this project?

Dude, I think that Pimp already explained that this is a 3rd gen forum for the accord. You might want to google or use the search I provided for you in one of your 7 repeated posts. Just an F.Y.I.

First of all this is not a 2nd gen accord site, they have very different engines from the 3rd gen, so I doubt you will get much info here. Get a weber 32/36 DGV or 38mm carb. I do not know what they came on stock, probably 70s euro cars. They go on ebay for about $100. Carbs.net sells them new. You will need an adaptor for the carb base to the manifold listed here www.carbs.net/Weber/adaptors.htm

Play nice ladys we've been accepting second gen accords and preludes here long before either of you joined up.
There's not much you can do with the second gen's carb. You can try to get your hands on a non cvcc head and manifold which should net you a little more power (I believe you can get there from canada). The weber dgv is the best thing you can do to it. I had one on my 83 sedan never regeted it.
