Sorry if this issue has been discussed but does anyone know how I can make my idle speed higher? It intermittently stalls out at about 800 rpms. It's a manual. Many thanks!

There's is a screw right above the inlet on the throttle body (above and to the left). It's a flathead screw. Turn it to the left for higher idle.

Ok sorry to post a question in someone elses thread, but my screw is totally fucked up beyond repair and i have to tap the screwdriver just to get it to catch on the screw. Is there any way to replace the screw with one made of solid steel instead of this copper that falls apart on me?

actually im having the same prob with my idle control screw, it was bobin in and out when the starter was goin and the threads are stipped, i think. But when i try to grab a thread, it almost feels like somthings stoping it from reaching the thread. Im also getting alot of carbon in the hole. nnot really an answer but i thought id share. any sollutions are greatly aqppreciated.
