So my mom's sitting out in the living room reading some book and she hears the radio. At first, she's like wtf, who has a radio on at 6:00am in the morning. She got so irritated with it that she went outside to see where it was, when low and behold, it's from her car. What? Yeah, her car. There was no key in the ignition, and everything was completely off, but the radio was on. What the hell?

By the way, it's an 88 LX

Yeah a cat unlocked the doors, turned on the radio, then opened the door, shut it, and walked off without me knowing....

Isn't washington (your state) home to lots of paranormal phenomenon?
Scientifically speaking, is it possible that some of her wires may have crossed behind the H/U? Maybe the switched crossed the constant and due to heat>>colling issues within the cabin of the car, caused some thing to just move.
Reminds me of Christine. Just be sure to close the vents...;)

She said it's happened twice. But it's never done it to me... so I dunno. I've heard of cars doing weird stuff when other electronic devices arent hooked up... Maybe since the bumper signal is out (getting a new one) it is doing funky stuff. Then again maybe not.

I was gonna say that maybe her remote wire is crossed with something and will turn the stereo on. (happend to me once)

my car does something like that sometimes:

when i turn the car on it takes a few seconds for the deck to come on, then when i shut it off, it takes a few seconds for it to turn off.

All wires are fine, and it doesnt cause any damage so i just deal with it.

Well it just did it to me the other day. I was driving, then I pulled off to stop somewhere, turned off the car, and the radio turned back on. Nothing else was on inside the car. I put the key partway into the ignition and the radio went off. Weird.
