I bought the intake from Scotts88WhiteLX-i. I'm not sure what size tubing it is, smaller than the last intake I had on though. It might be 2 1/4, but I can't say for sure. To move the battery over I had to unbolt the battery tray and slide it over so that the piping could go down and I zip tied that down since it didn't have the bolt holes anymore and then the battery sits right in it. I got this filter from a local performance shop. The intimidator filter that I got from scott is sitting in my closet. :D

the only thing that I don't like is that I lost that distinctive sound that the short ram intake had after 4,900 RPMs. It's still there, just not nearly as loud. But the added power makes up for it. :D

That looked like one of those ZEX or one of those nitrous brand filters. I saw this in a magazine before, the filter has a nitrous squirter on the top. I guess it's an easier way to get nirtous.

alright one more question? on my 86 their are 2 vacuum lines connected on the side of the intake i think #17 and 18 and i was wondering what you did with those or did you just plug them up. because i am going out this weekend to find parts to build mine! THANKS!:D
