ok guys heres the deal..
i changed my injectors that i bought off of bambamky..and the car runs fine..
but today i was smelling gasoline...like a lot of it...i checked under the good and didnt see anything....the car was running at the time though..so i dont know
and there was this other burning kinda smell....maybe that was somethin else
anyways can anyone help me out on this

when you chenged the injectors, did you chenged O-ring too?
if you didn't your ijectors will leak.

check the fuel lines to and from the fuel filter. I know u said u did not see any leaks or spills. Check all the fuel bolts are tight enough. Do u see moisture buildup near the injector nozzles?

nah i used the same old o-rings...damn i should have changed those....but is it fire causing....i mean would it be dangerous to drive the car....

as long as they dont leak ur safe. The o rings cost a fortune just like the o rings for ur ac system. Friggin retards. :mad: . God knows why these small o-rings are that expensive.

ok i found out what the fuckin problem was.....the o ring on top of one of the injectors was cut..you know the one that looks like a skinny cheerio...anyways i was trying to look for what was wrong yesterday and i noticed that the injector was throwin gas everywhere...like outside...it looked like a water leak...there was a lot of gas...shit...so i got the new o ring set (freakin $7.28)
anyways the prob is fixed I hope

whoa. that could have been a serious hazard if you did not pay attention. Gas spray aint fun. BUt anyway, im glad you got it fixed.

ok one wierd thing is happening to the car now..
today when i was trying to leave wokr...my car wouldnt start...it would crank but it wouldnt start...so i thought fuel overflow..or somethin...anyways i waited for a while cranked it and stuff but when it finally started i heard a loud ass poping noise...it just went BAMN..and i could feel my cars exhaust shake...so was that just back fire??

yeah, did u mess with the timing? Usually our 3g wont backfire cause the distributor goes in only one way so ur not outta phase.

did it do anytime after that? sometimes its just once and then its gone. I messed up the timing by pulling the darn dist outta my girl's gts and it back fired every darn time.

it hasnt done it since..it did it three times in one day though but hasnt done it today
