Would a Civic radiator mount in our cars? Not really familiar with patterns of a Civic radiator.

I don't see why not. THere half the size. if anyting you would have to drill new holes and add grommets in the top and bottom of the frame, maybe make little tabs to hold it inplace.

It doesn't really require any force to keep it there.

Would be kind of nice of someone would make a nice full size one that would drop in perfectly in our cars.

Kinda figured that.. reason I am consedering one is because my top radio hose is pinched. I have not noticed any cooling issues yet, but I have not driven the car much.. Thanks

Why don't you try and get one made.

This person welds alum real nice. He used to be Chris rados head mechanic a while back.

When i have some money to spend I'll ask. He makes some real nice turbo manifolds too. (hint hint)

yo mike, you remember chris (Civteck) he uses that kinda radiator on his civic hb. he took his stock full one and put a small one in. I dont think he got any coolin issues. I think thats the kinda radiator Jhonny-Q has too.

My buddy uses a small stock civic radiator on his H22a. He had to use a smaller radiator so he could fit the H22 in his 92 hatchback.......

i'm sure that one would work in a 3g. Just a little custom fab work so it sits in there properly.

I remember somebody had a pic of one in a accord. Do a search, it is here somewhere.

I know mike knows about it, but he just wants to know if there would be any coolin probs in it. To be honest mike, i dont think there would be any.

Civic radiators drop right in, my ghetto ass accord is running with one right now, I don't even have the fan on it and it doesn't overheat. I think it's from a 92-95 civic

Why not just get the replacement hose from autozone for about $6.99 plus tax to replace the pinched one and think about the alternative radiator afterwards. The only real issue with the radiators is the location of the spouts on top and bottom and the lengths of hose that are to be used. Of course mounting and such. Check out Jegs for their answer to your question

A little sawzall will make anything fit in anything :). I just finished stuffing a griffin dual pass scirocco radiator into my nova(corolla). Managed to get it in there with still enough room for the fan, intercooler, oil cooler, hood latch, and I still got an inch of clearance with the turbo's exhaust housing. I kinda wihsed I had used a civic radiator, but they didnt make any aftermarket ones at the time... I bought this thing 3 years ago.. god has it taken me this long... But I definitly wont have any trouble with over heating.

The best remidy for you pinched hose. Go to autozone find a hose that is the same diameter and has a bend that looks like it won't kink. Go to home depot and get a short piece of copper tube, cut and splice and you're golden. I've been running my accord like that the whole time with no problems. It's not the prettiest thing but it works.

Why don't you try cutting the end of that hose a little bit. (like an inch)

Also when you cut it,......cut it at an angle and I think that might help that kink out a little.

Yeah, I just trimmed mine about inch and a half and its on there fine now, you do have to do it at an angle though or the clamp won't go on it right.

Do not replace your radiator, it will be a waist of time and money. Just get another hose or modify that one. Spend your hard earned money on RacingImpulse :D

He's right. You just need to trim an inch (maybe two) off the end connecting to the thermostat. Cutting at an angle will work but I think if you take enough off of it, the kink will go away. That is, unless the hose is wore out, then I would suggest buying a new one and cutting it to fit.
