My compressor sized up, it was a small one I had bought from OldSchoolSwap, I remember the unit I had before was a much larger one but he said it worked fine and it did for about 6 months until the other day when the belts flew off for no reason. I opened it up and found little bits of metal in the oil.

Now this compressor outside has no label on it so how do I know if it's Keihin or Denso? This one is the smaller one of the 2 compressors I've seen on 3-gees, I had to hack the lines to make it connect.
Which is the one that works with R-134a?

Keihin Compressors
Currently we do not remanufacture Keihin Compressors. Keihin compressors are not reccomended to be upgraded to R134A

We do however offer a relpacement kit.

If yours looks squarish like the bottom one, then that is the POS Keihin compressor (and seizing up is perfectly normal for those, heh)

Look at this thread for some more pics....

Time to hit the U Pull It! Not long ago I got one from there, the ND 10PA15E. I wanted that one over the 10P15E cuz that's the second version of that compressor and never came from the factory, so obviously you know it was a replacement and probably isn't all that old, or at least not original. It's still putting out 37 degree air! :D

that bottom one is a denso according to the info I've found, I used to have the 10PA15E (top, big one) and the clutch burnt out
