Nice, cheap too, but why wouldn't it work for 86-88 FI cars?

I highly doubt this will give you 20 hp. Even if it could work you would need to dyno tune it for best results. But I doubt it will do anything but weigh the car down with a few extra ounces.

Hey look it is a resistor that you lug into your intake temp sensor so it advances your timing.

yeah dude just go to radioshack and buy a 4.7k ohm resistor thats all it is, i just did it, and i have it on a switch too normal one way, and resisted the other way (on the intake temp sensor, on the far right of the FI body) so i can be either fuel efficient or fast, have yet to determine wheter it makes a difference or not though, but dont SPEND 15$ on it, it really is just a 10cent resistor

hmm Someone should get a dyno run with the resistor in place.....

Yeah, whatever. There is a 3.4 DOHC chip that has been dyno proven +27hp/+19tq but that is for a relatively technologically advanced domestic V6, not a foreign 12-valve 4-banger. I also call bullshit on the range of years not beginning at the start of an actual generation of Accords. It's remotely possible they're referring to 8/89 meaning the earliest 4g though.

well yeah maybe but this one is complete BS!!

you have a z34! sweet man. Those DOHC 3.4L engines are nice and quick. Check out www.w-body.com Our cars (buicks, luminas and prixs) are all built onthe same platform

hey john, when ya gonna find out if it makes a difference? also, have you seen the perf. chip on nopionline.com? its like a hundred bucks or something...I looked at it a long time ago.... like, ya send them a part to have it welded on, andt ehy send it back to ya..... its suposed to improve the performance of all your aftermarket parts... I duno, could someone with money look into it? i would, but I"m flat broke...I can't get anything else until I get my MSD and blaster 2 coil paid for... boss-man at work is letting me pay so much a week :) but I have to pay something like 260 total...

Hell yeah! I've been on that board for a while though I don't post too often. I was also on EFI Street before it shut down. W-bodies rule. What's your name on the w-body forum?

Also btw have you seen Tim's turbo thread? I forget his name on the board but he has a turbo setup that Shane (RedZMonte) made and is going to start selling as a kit. He said he's been smoking 5.0's like nobody's business on 5-6 psi non-I/C.

pimp86LX

my name on w-body is Panopticon

I havn't been on there in ages though, my buick needs a new ABS master cyl. and its like $4000 from GM so i'm beating the 3g until that dies and saving up for the buick.
I havn't seen the turbo thread. I have plans for the 3.8 though. :D its gunna cost mabe $10-12k CAD for a Tuned-L67 swap :D
