hahah bull shit its too soon, we need to do another meet now now now now!!! dammit. Terry and I have been wanting to do another meet since the last one. I dont know about everyone else but it doesnt really matter, when as long as its on a weekend. it would be sweet to get a night or evening meet going too. I say we get one going for um........tomorrow, yeah that sounds good. nah im just messing. as far as meeting goes, it doesnt matter to me where it is. We show go over to Sparks, Nevada, the home of Summit Racing. they have a huge parking lot over there. and theres legal prostitution. hahahaha anyway count me in as interested!

seems like alot of people are from the sac area and around.

but are there any people from the bay area, that would want to do a meet in SF or peninsula side of the bay? i'm jobless, and don't have money for a trip up to sac, so something closer to home would be great, the same could be said for everyone else.

what if i told u guys im out of the meet .. ? my autotranny is f0cked ... it wont shift anymore .. i cant go any faster then 65 anymore cause its not shifting .. but it can shift through 1st and and 2nd .. and 3rd is dead.. and no 4th .. but my car is HELLA FAST in 1st and 2nd.. my car doesnt shift till 6900 .. and its an auto .. haha weird

A meet in the Sacramento area would be cool with me as long as I don't have to work that day. The new head supervisor made it clear that she won't let anyone request any day off for the rest of this year. So yeah, the 8th, the 15th, and the 22nd of this month would work out. I'll be busy on the 29th though.

The directions are all wrong. They were for a different park. Just get the address to Howe Park down and look for directions on Mapquest. A little side note: I won't have the Accord for the meet (dead and sitting in the driveway). I'll most likely bring my 2nd gen Teg.

Coming from NORTH of Sac on I-5: come south on I-5. Exit on Garden Ave and go east (left turn). Go down the road and the park should be to your right.

Coming from NORTH of Sac on 70 or 99: keep coming until you get to I-5. Just go straight while you're on 99 cuz that'll eventually merge into I-5 southbound. From there, just follow the above directions.

Coming from South of Sac on I-5: come up (north) on I-5. Stay on I-5. Garden Drive should be after Old Sacramento. Following Old Sac is a long stretch of bridges. Discovery Park is under those bridges. Exit on Garden Drive and go east (left turn cuz the ramp is like a circle). Go down the road and Discovery Park should be on your right.

Coming from South of Sac on 99: come up and be sure to take the ramp that'll take you to US50 west (toward San Francisco). The ramps are after 12th Street so try to merge to the two right lanes. Once on US50 Westbound, try taking the 2 right lanes. At the I-5 ramps, it's the right ramp cuz that's the northbound ramp (toward Redding). You're gonna drive through Old Sac and a stretch of bridges. Discovery Park is under those bridges. After those bridges, be sure to exit onto Garden Drive. Godown the road and just keep your eyes up for yellow gates cuz it's the entrance to the park.

Coming from EAST of Sac on I-80: come until you see I-5. Make sure you get on the ramp that'll take you south (toward LA). It shouldn't be far until you see Garden Drive. Exit on Garden Drive and make left turn (go east). Go down the road and the park should be to your right. Look for the yellow gates.

Coming from EAST of Sac on Business 80 or US50: Business 80 will eventually merge into US50. From there, you just have to follow the guys who are coming from south of Sac on 99.

Coming from WEST of Sac: you should only stay on I-80. The tricky part is that when you're in West Sac, I-80 splits into US50 and I-80. In order to stay on I-80, you must stay on the right lane. Before the split of I-80 is the bridges which separates Davis from West Sac known as the Causeway. Anyways, stay on I-80 eastbound until you see I-5. Get onto I-5 southbound (toward LA). It shouldn't be long before you see Garden Drive. Exit on Garden and make a left turn (go east). Go down the road and Discovery Park should be to your right.

I hope this will help some of you find your way there. If you need more details, just IM me and I'll try and elaborate some more.

well.. i dont want to bust any balls. cuz my friends r kinda hesitant about goin up there. they're afraid of all the stealing stories that they've heard from my cousins up there. otherwise, i myself want to make it. let me try an convince them first.

otherwise.. maybe a JRSC del sol with a typeR motor (depends if he can put it in by next week) and my hatchback... same motor off the accord. jus with aasco lightened flywheel now. and pushing more power. and maybe another car.. 5spd 91 legend with type2 cams and type2 ecu. ill update later

actually, i'm going to be up in reno/lake tahoe thanksgiving weekend. i would attend, but i don't think my gf would be down for it. all guys and just 1 girl it seems like. since i started working, weekends are like the only time i see my gf.

i'll make the trip if someone would buy my 97 grey leather gsr seats off me. off a 2 door i believe. front(just some normal wear on driver's seat, passenger side mint) and rear(mint, looks brand spanking new). comes with eg(92-95 civic) sliders. you need some integra(94-01) sliders to install. those eg ones are too narrow to line up to the holes. oh, and one seat is missing the part where you put your seat buckle into, but you can swap from your current seat.

Meaning I don't need to be at the meet? Dude, I no longer own the Accord, my brother does now and it's dead, sitting in the driveway so I doubt it'll be fixed by the time of the meet since he and I are too busy with school and work we hardly have time to even look at the car. But then again, I will try to be at the meet, just that I'll bring my Integra. No, you didn't offend me. I'll see you on the 22nd unless otherwise.

we should have the meet there hahah jk .. but why does everyone drive speed limit over there? i always notice that im the only one driving 45-50 .. since thats the speed limit on da streets here .. and everyone looks at me weird at the gas station .. the one with the punjabi guy .. is it cause im filipino? i have never seen any asians there .. becides to asian girls .. and thats it .. they looked mighty fine tho .. hehe .. just my 100cents .. but no drama in here please?

A meet here in town (Oroville) doesn't sound too bad. :lol Dude, I tell you, man, doing 70 on the freeway here is considered "too fast" so that's what's with the speed limit. Which gas station did you go to? By the way, I think there is a Filipino family in town. There's quite a few Asians (mostly Hmong and Mien and 2 Viet families and a Filipino family). :D

Most people who don't know much about Oroville tend to think there's nothing here, which is kinda true, but once you get to know the place it isn't as dead as you think. Good thing they picked Oroville to be the county seat and not have the University here. :D

Im looking for the transmission bell housing for a 97 GSR teg. It is the biggest thing preventing the GSR motor from going into my car right now.

I'll be there sometime around 11-12. Last time we met at the south entrance to the park. Why don't we try and meet at the east entrance of the park this time so we can park our cars angled or tilted, kinda like / / / and we won't have to worry about seeing the ranger drive on the lawn. :D

well 12 noon is fine for me, but as for you guys drivin 70 in the freeway... i go like 85-90 every morning 4:00 in the morning to work in rocklin to be there at 4:30, and yeah i notice like everyone going at least 80 on the free way when im up early, but i do think i drive fast for teh streets, i usualy average 10mph's over the limit but i keep a good eye out for pigs ha ha, anyways i get off work at 12 and ill be there around 1 or so maybe a lil earlier

4 people, what happend to everybody? oh well. Makes nor cal meets look worse hahah! well, i guess the cars are getting old and racking up good mileage. Well, at least we manage to eat, and find a junkyard at closing time (bummer). Well, racked up a good 200+miles for some pics with tom, jesse and junior.

Next time maybe a bigger meet! and get some phone numbers or something so we can say we cant make it or something, cause we waited till 2:30 at the park for nothing!

That same park ranger checked tom's registration cause he didnt have a reg sticker on his license plate hahah! (damn ranger!)

took some pics in the lot of Big M (yea thats right) and junkyard parking lot. hopefully jesse will get those up soon.
