Sensor Problem

I have an 89 LXi coupe. My passenger door sensor is messed up. It beeps like hell whenever it wants to and now it's starting to irritate me. I've tried disconnecting the two wires, but it just makes it worse. The beeping would stay on long as the car is on. Is there anything I could do besides getting a new door?

reach under the dash, under the stereo. you should feel the box and connector. unplug it. but remember by doing this you will loose the turn signal in the fenders. the one in the bumper will blink but not the ones in the fender.
it should hold it untill you get a new sensor from junk yard.

[POS carb]

replace the sensor!
if not then break off the speaker in the black box under the dash
