alright i just gave my car a tune-up, changed its motor mounts and fuel filter... but now its having problems starting what are some of the causes it acts like it wants to start and it takes about 8 tries to get it started... i kno its not the starter because that wuz just replace , not the battery or alternator either... could a bad leak in the flex pipe make the car not want to start or a new fuel filter?

I alaways turn the car on wait for the check engine light to dissapear then the fuel system should be pressurised see if doing that helps. Also when it is not working check to hear if your fuel pump is coming on it may be going bad or it could be your main relay.

could be alot of things, does your car stutter at idle, or just take a bit to start and then it's fine?

probably the clutch switch that interrupts the starter is bad

i'd check continuity with a multi meter on the clutch switch, its locates under the dash. Follow the clutch pedal up and you should see it.

Try checking your Main EFI Relay up above your fuse box. Mine does this and it has been know to cause problems in 3g accords among a few other hondas.... here's a website that lists the problems and a few fixes, the screwdriver one against the relay is what is working for me til I replace the damn relay.
