Just looking around the web at random shit and voila look what I found. On the left is Yasu's B20A block, and on the right is a JG B16A block. They look relatively similar, which gives me hope for the possibility of making a custom Si/VTEC setup.

I think he meant putting a vtec head on a JDM B20a Block. and no Pri does not make a Mount Kit for the JDM B20a.

You guys kill me but anyway im sure you may know toastyghost Tom at Ludespeed has done it on a B20A5 which i would imagine is not far off from out B20A. But i dont think he was all that impressed with it if i remeber right for the effort he put into it. This was a while ago so i may be a bit off on what i said so if your really interested you may find it in his archives which are still available on his site.

Well, it did give a nice power increase with the vtec head... but you'll run into coolant passages problems. Same thing as bolting a B16 head to an A20A I think

I see two major problems with it...
http://68.85.171.32:3000/accordpics/B16A%25202.0%2520PAINT.jpg

The oil passages on the other side don't quite line up either, but those are quite off.

Hehe I was hoping one of the hardcore techies like Phydeaux would answer. He photo-chopped my graphic and everything. If I get a shop to plug the near passages and re-machine the far ones and run braided oil lines a la CRVTEC/LSVTEC, will it be alright otherwise?

Carot: I thought the major issue with an A20A/B16A hybrid was piston clearance of combustion chamber, not coolant passages. Did someone try this? Am I missing something? Link to thread if there's more info! :D

Btw, NXRacer if you really didn't know I was talking about a head swap instead of an engine swap, I will cutz0r j00.

The Ludespeed article on the B20A5/B16A2 hybrid can be found here (http://www.ludespeed.com/products/prelude/articles/vtec/), but Tom doesn't go into a lot of detail about the specific procedure to make the passages in question line up. I think that part would be toward the end, when he is pretty much giving up on selling it as a kit.
