I have 2.5" and I'm sure a few other members have 2.5" as well.

Check out my custom header thread... it's in the link below. before I decide to hook up the rest of the exhaust to the collector I will have a 3" pipe... :D

Cause going past 2.25" is not backed up up by exhaust gas volocity dynamics. Going to 2.5" on a 2 liter motor will not bring positive benefit's unless you plan on forced induction. Do not get caught up in a fad that does more harm than good. 2.25" is the standard for valid reason's. This is a good case of bigger is not better and don't get involved in one man upmanship, your lose on that count. Work on the "kink's" in the system using 2.25".

"kink's being, header, cat, resonator ( or glass pack or no resonator at all, which I don't recommend cause of noise), mandrel bend's vs crimp bends and the muffler.

2.5", that's the stardard size on my G35 and 350Z! You won't see me going to 2.75" I'll work the kink's.

A20A with a 2" pipe mandrell bent, high flow cat, high flow exhaust!

My stock exhaust fell off so I put this one on and I noticed a little gain in low end!
