I recently lowered my car with the massive help from 86AccordLxi (Alex) and bobafett (Chris) and I just now got around to getting some pics, so here ya go. The springs are H&R's, and I'm riding proud on my Koni's....yep...Koni's :D (sorry Chris and Alex, had to rub it in :D)

I have the same setup and it definatly rides nice but with the weight in the rear it sags a bit. I may go for a lower spring but i would like to have real coilovers so i can set the height myself.

Looks good matt...it's ok you've got konis, i'll still whoop ya through all the twisties :flipa: :D. I'll post the pics i have at home from the garage. ( i got a cable modem!!! no more dialup).

I'm just a fan of having import stuff on my car. But, I have a friend that has a 00 accord and he has AR wheels on his (ugly ones at that though)

Noah - 22% tint all around

DXhatchback - I'm planning on buying Justin's old Axis Touring rims (16"), so that'll clean that up.

Mike - duh...read above /\/\/\ :)

Alex - as soon as I get the strut bar on, you've got NO game ;)

Oh yeah...it's dropped 1.5" I think that's enough for me. I realize that it'd probably do better on GC's, but Matt = broke :( So unless you're gonna give me money for some GC's, just say nice drop :lol j/p man

Looks pretty good. How did you drop it? Just springs, Just struts? How many inches did you drop it?

It's a 1.5 inch drop on H&R springs and koni struts. I'll post up pictures from during the install at my dad's house when i get home from work.

looks good. a lot more of an even drop than those springs gave me in my car. :)

maybe i could beat both u guys in a race though... we should find out sometime :D

how many turns did you turn the koni's? I have the koni's and am getting h&r's and i also have a coupe like you. I like the ride height that you have now so just wondering how many times you turned the koni's?

jlaccord89lxi - I'm pretty sure I turned them one turn for all four. I kinda wish I had made the rears 1.5 turns though so it'd be a little tighter. Good luck with your drop!!! :D Get pics!
