the belt for the stock b20a have 134 tooth.

if you take the h23 belt, you'll need to change the camgear and the crankshaft gear too for the b20a5.

I prefer keep my b20a original and wait to get the real parts.

It posted in many of the topics that you can use a maxima timing belt. Im sure there are some other honda belts that may work but its trial and error so the guy may be right as far as it working but Yasu did some extensive work on what works and what doesnt. All the information you need is here so a little reading will end all of your non answered posts. Even Yasu's post at the top has pretty much all you need for the basic rebuild.

oh and you'll need to take the b20a5 water pump too.

i've check with my honda dealer and NO honda/acura have a belt with 134 tooth EXCEPT the b20a, so, forget to find a honda belt for your b20a if you don't take the b20a belt.

Rob, how many tooth the maxima timing belt?
