a very quick question

im trying to diagnose a fuel system problem here, but anyways;

when one is to feel the hose before and after the fuel filter on a FI accord (with it running) should you feel a pulsing in the hose?

I'm not totally sure, but it shouldn't pulse I don't believe. Should be a steady stream. That's not a definite, just my opinion...

Im thinking its steady because the pump puts out a constant pressure of 36 psi +/- 3 psi

I felt a slight pulsing in mine at idle, as well! I hope that's not a bad thing! :confused:
