no power from 1-3krpm

i took off the head and got it remachined then put it back on and put everything in its correct place, but for some reason it feels like from 1-3000rpm had gotten ALOT weaker from what it use to have been.. but after 3000 it powers on great (which is a major difference to what it use to be before the remachined head.. it would lose its power at about 5000.. but now it powers on in redline) so what could i have done wrong?

make sure you have your timing right.
