Squeaking brakes.

Does anyone know how to fix brakes that squeak in that high pitch tone whenever the brakes are applied? it's getting annoying and i wanna correct it on my accord.

ummm... have you tried new pads? probably a good thing to do.

take your pads out and sea if they are worn , if worn replace if not clean them ! and the squeek should go !
beware if the brake dust don't smell it !

change the pads. you may need to have the rotors turned if the pads have worn down enough, causing the bolts on the pad to grind away at the rotor

i havn't looked at my brakes yet, but doens't most disk systems have squeel tabs ?

I have this same problem and I just had my brakes looked at by a mechanic who said the brake pads are new and stuff and everything looks fine. it's really annoying but i thought maybe i just had to live with the squeal?
