I know this question has been asked a trillion times, and I've searched the archives but no one seems to really know, so I'm asking it again....

I've gathered that installing the weber carb will not interfere with my A/C working per se, however the idle will not surge with the compressor on. Does this mean my car will just run like garbage at idle when my A/C is on or will it stall out?

I'm looking to hear specifically from people who have done the conversion and their experience with it, but any help is appreciated. Muchos gracias.

It probably wont stall out, but it will run rough at idle. to fix this you can adjust the carb to bump up the idle

You'll have to adjust the idle a little higher... but not by much. I would think that the fact the weber is losing less vacuum... you should be okay since the igntion advance would be stronger. I'm thinking that all you will nottice is a quick drop in RPM when the A/C is first turned on... then it should even out.
