Just found this website today and it's probably the best one out there for the old school accords. :)

I found a '88 Accord LX-I hatchback. White. Original owner along with original everything it seems.

5 speed with 177k miles.

Haven't droven the car or looked at the engine yet but the interior and exterior is pretty much MINT.

The price is $2000 and they are pretty firm on this.

I plan to test drive the car and check everything out sometime this weekend.

What are some key things I should look for and ask for?

Hopefully a 3G Accord owner,
Dennis

Note: I have 2 other hondas and just won't quit with them. :super:

That's a pretty fair price I think. I mean the car is 15 years old. But these 3rd Gens go a long way. Mileage isn't too bad either.

go for it man. That seems kinda pricy, but then again resale value of hondas is really low around here. I mean i payed $100CAD for a decent 3g.

thats not bad. One of the dealers in my area wants $4999 for a white coupe with 202K on it.

Looks awesome on the outside and inside. What kind of things should I look and ask for mechanically?
