Check the FAQs.

You can stick with get another motor from an carbed accord or you can convert to EFI and get the motor from an 88-89 LXi/SEi.

How much work is actually involved in converting from Carb to EFI.... and how much will it cost... not counting the cost of the engine... approx that is.

From what I've seen and heard, it would be easier and cheaper to buy an LXi than to try to retrofit an LX. Certainly not a drop-in job.

On the other hand, you can get an engine for replacement pretty easily. :)

It can be done, but there is a time and cost factor. The cheapest I've heard to do the swap is have a donor car for the EFI so you can just swap parts off. Other than that the only option is to go get a another carbed motor and drop it in.
