Cooler Keys

I dunno about you guys, but I like having a cool key to go with my car... and frankly, the big-ass metal key that I got with my 3g doesn't cut it for me. does anyoen know of any cool keys that work with the 86-89 accords?

look on ebay for blank key fobs, I still have the original key, it's not cool, bet def. better than the blanks you get from the locksmith.

Go to Ebay and type in "Honda key", they have a few good things there!

NOPI has butterfly keys.. they are like paratrooper knives.. i want one as soon as i get my new Honda

the dealer sells blank keys! I want a 5th gen key but i dont think its possible!

OEM keys are best. Just plain ole original.

get an all metal one and chrome it or copper plate it!! Hell you could even anodize it.

paint that honda logo on your key with crayon..now you got whatever color logo you want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually like a plain metal key blank better because it takes up less space in my pocket (makes my key chain less bulky).

With our van I have two Honda keys on my key ring and going with the plain metal makes a BIG difference.

You're right. They won't. Too many grooves. The eBay listings show them as being for 4g and newer Accords.

slightly old thread, but after searching ebay i still found nothing. Maybe someone should contact one of the companys... I really hate having the crappy key that i have. If someone was to see my keys with a nice key like one of those ^ theyd be like, wtf do you drive? you know what im sayin?

Honda changed the locks for the 90+ Accord and 88+ Civics and Prelude.

We have to get the older style keys

eh, wish we could get some better lookin ones. But whats the point of having an old school car without and old school key?

What about gettin at a Honda dealer ?... Cant they make those new gen key fit on 3 gz ?

Or can they only do those old ones ?

the new ones will not fit for sure, the entire lock is different.

unless it's an old Honda teeth design on the key with a newer overall style, it won't work.
