which is better having ur max torque at a low rpm (3000) or high rpm (5000) ???

Torque you want at a low RPM.... torque is what gets you moving

Ya it's good to have the torque to get you off the line, then the HP takes over at the high end...

why do you think A20 engines have so much torque at low end.

Maximum torque in the low-mid rpm range is good for general driving, but it reduces the maximum horsepower (horsepower is the product of engine speed and torque). Engines setup for maximum torque at high rpm will produce the most power, but will not work very well at lower rpms.

He couldn't be more right. In the end. It's the torque that is going to win you the race in the long run, not the horsepower...
