It's hot as hell... and I went out to start my car earlier, warmed it up, went on my way, came back, it sat for about 45 minutes. Went out to start it and a big cloud of smoke comes out... not really sure what color it was, but it wasn't blue, least, from my rearview mirror it didn't look blue. It did it again just now, about an hour later. Also, when I started it, it SLIGHTLY chugged a little. Like it didn't start right up, kind of sounded like it was starved for a half second. By all this I mean it sounded like it was at low idle for a split second before it started fully. What's going on?

check what kind of smoke it is coughing out. if it is white, you have some moisture or coolant in your cylinders. if it is blue, it is oil.
if it is black/ grey it can be you are running rich or your piston rings are bad.

It was blackish grey color.

I know my engine is pretty much shot to hell. Blue smoke at times. 250,000 miles, can't complain I guess.
