I'm just going to paint them black to smooth them out and clean up the car.. it'll look pretty good that way I think. I'm not a huge fan of same color moldings

And FACK you my tires are PIMP :flip: :flip: :D :D

Now that looks much better..
In the darker pics it almost looks black.
What color is that off of?
When do you plan on getting rims? (once you do it will look real good)

Yeah if you paint the moldings nice and black it will compliment the paint nicely.

Actually maaco generally mixes all of the paints on the spot, and when they say its the same colors, its not. I know from my experience with them, the screwed up my first job and repainted the entire car. It was supposed to be the same color but is majorly different from the first color, but I didn''t complain since I didn't want them to redo it again. You should do something with the window trim, it would make it look alot cleaner. In that picture the back tire does look huge though.

Did you do the prep work yourself? What maaco job did you get and how much was it? Just curious.

i got a maaco paint job on my 94 accord. it still shines good a year later but the paint isn't very durable. i spent 600 on the paint job, just on the paint, and it's all chipping away and the hood is all messed up from hitting bugs while driving. for it being only a year old i'm pretty dissapointed. but i knew it was only a temp thing untill i got the rest of the car the way i wanted it.

I paid 800 for the job on my chevelle last august. It looks good both from far and close but there is a few weird spots in the paint. I think there was some very slight surface rust on the bare metal which caused little bubbles under the paint. They are only noticable if you look at the paint sideways, squint, and know what you are looking for, but I still have seemed to notice them.
