Hi,
Just removed my radiator and now see
1) rubber cylinder in a semi-circular clamp near the fwd motor mount. Attached to nothing. What's it do?
2) What looks like a drain tube on my fan motor ???
Can anybody clue me in?
Thanks...
JB

Do you mean you see the rubber tube on the transmission?
Are you Auto or Manual trans?

Thanks for the replies. It's a thick disc like a shock absorber bumper stop, except it's mounted vertically, about 6 in off to the side of the motor mount. Attached to the same heavy cross member and covered by a metal bracket. As I say, just sitting there.
It's an auto w/ AC.

Saw that thing too, when I replaced my front motor mount. Honda calls it a front beam damper. Guess it's there to counteract engine vibration that the front mount doesn't catch?? It's #1 in this pic, right?

The tube, probably just a vent .
